Runner and guide wheel regulation. Used primarily at heads from 3,5m.
Offers better machine efficiency which is achieved by relative motion of vanes and blades. Guide wheel performs the function of both operational and closure system whichis controlled by gravity or hydraulic pressure accumulator.
Installation is almost exclusively with a direct connection to the generator.
